Information for transport customers in connection with Regulation (EU) 2015/703 (NC Interoperability)
Thyssengas has concluded network interconnection agreements at its market and cross-border interconnection points and has received authorisation to continue using existing solutions for data exchange.
1. conclusion of grid interconnection agreements
Thyssengas has concluded network interconnection agreements with the neighbouring transmission system operators at its market interconnection points. By concluding these interconnection agreements, which include the agreement of an operating balancing account (OBA), the transmission system operators involved ensure that the transport volumes can be allocated to the shippers on an "allocated as nominated" basis. The "lesser rule" regulation applies to matching. The communication procedure for extraordinary events between the grid interconnection partners is carried out in accordance with Section 54 of the Cooperation Agreement (main part). Notification of the shippers is based on Section 34 of the Network Access Conditions.
Thyssengas has agreed network interconnection regulations with the neighbouring transmission system operators at its cross-border interconnection points, according to which the "lesser rule" regulation applies to the balancing procedure. An Operating Balancing Account (OBA) has been agreed for the allocation of control difference quantities. In the event that an extension of the limits cannot be agreed when the limits of this OBA are reached, the transport quantities may have to be allocated in instalments. The transmission system operators have defined the communication in the event of exceptional events. Notification of shippers in such cases is governed by Section 34 of the Network Access Conditions.
2. granting of authorisation pursuant to Art. 23 (2) NC Interoperability
On 12 April 2016, the BNetzA approved the continued use of existing solutions for data exchange between transmission system operators and their affected counterparties in accordance with Art. 23 para. 2 NC Interoperability in such a way that the EDIFACT data format and the AS2 data protocol can continue to be used until 31 January 2018. The decision can be viewed on the website of the Federal Network Agency.
