Gas trading products
Thyssengas GmbH regularly procures gas trading products, such as load flow commitments or fuel gas, for the operation of the network by means of tenders. All interested parties who fulfil our terms for the pre-qualification and tendering procedure, as set out in our procedural terms, can take part in the tenders. After successful pre-qualification, we will inform you of new tenders by e-mail. We also publish information on current tenders on our website.
Please note that the pre-qualification procedure is only valid for interested parties who offer the gas trading products mentioned here. It does not apply to providers of other services or products. Please contact our purchasing department.

Pre-qualification for participation in tenders for load flow commitments or fuel gas
All interested parties who have previously pre-qualified can participate in Thyssengas GmbH tenders for load flow commitments or fuel gas. As part of the pre-qualification procedure, we check, among other things, creditworthiness, availability and communication. For further information, please refer to the procedural terms.
To ensure that your pre-qualification can be completed before the tendering procedures, please send your completed and legally binding signed pre-qualification form and attachments in PDF format in good time by e-mail to ausschreibung@thyssengas.com.
Load flow commitments
The Thyssengas GmbH requires load flow commitments for the operation of the grid within the market area Trading Hub Europe. These serve as an instrument for the offering of firm, freely associable entry and exit capacities for transportation within the Thyssengas grid at the largest possible extent.
Thyssengas thus fulfills its obligation to take all economically reasonable measures needed for the representation of firm, freely associable entry and exit capacities at the largest possible extent, in order to prevent an intervention based on § 16 Sec. 2 of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG) in order to maintain the security and reliability of the gas supply system. If there are not sufficient economically reasonable measures available after a tender, the likelihood that measures according to § 16 Sec. 2 EnWG have to be taken increases significantly for all shippers in the market area.
Fuel gas
Thyssengas GmbH requires natural gas and biomethane to cover its operating consumption in order to operate the gas network.
Thyssengas GmbH requires natural gas and biomethane to cover its own consumption in order to operate the gas network. The sustainable biomethane quantities are used to reduce emissions for the generation of motive power in the compressor plants, which are certified in accordance with SURE (Sustainable Resources Verification Scheme). Proof of sustainability is provided via the web application Sustainable Biomass Systems (Nabisy) of the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food.
