Gas trading products
For its grid operations, Thyssengas GmbH regularly procures gas trading products - such as, for example load flow commitments or fuel gas - on the basis of calls for tender.
All interested parties that fulfil our terms for the pre-qualification and tendering procedures, as set out in our procedural terms, may participate in the tenders.
After the successful completion of the pre-qualification process, we will inform you of new calls for tender by e-mail. Moreover, you can find information about current calls for tender further down on this page.
Please note that the pre-qualification procedure is only applicable for interested parties that offer the gas trading products mentioned here. It does not apply to suppliers of other services or products. Please contact our purchasing department.

Pre-qualification for participation in calls for tender for load flow commitments or fuel gas
All interested parties that have already pre-qualified may participate in the Thyssengas GmbH calls for tender for load flow commitments or fuel gas.
As part of the pre-qualification procedure, we check, among other things, the credit rating, availability and communication. For further information, please refer to the terms for the pre-qualification and tendering procedures.
To ensure that your pre-qualification can be completed prior to the tendering procedures, please email a pre-qualification form that has been duly filled in and signed by you - and will thus be legally binding - accompanied by any attachments, in PDF format, to Ausschreibung@thyssengas.com well in advance.
Load flow commitments
Thyssengas GmbH requires load flow commitments for the operation of the grid within the Trading Hub Europe market area. Such commitments serve as an instrument for the presentation of firm, freely allocable entry and exit capacities for transportation within the Thyssengas grid to the greatest possible extent.
Thyssengas can thus fulfil its obligation to take all economically reasonable measures needed for the presentation of firm, freely allocable entry and exit capacities to the greatest possible extent, so as to prevent an intervention, pursuant to Section 16(2) of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG), in order to maintain the security and reliability of the gas supply system. After a call to tender, if economically reasonable measures are not available to a sufficient extent, then for all the shippers in the market area the probability that the measures under Section 16(2) EnWG would have to be taken will considerably increase.
There is currently no call for tenders for load flow commitments.
Fuel gas
For the operation of the gas grid Thyssengas GmbH requires natural gas and biomethane to cover its own consumption. The sustainable biomethane quantities are used to generate motive power in the compressor systems in a way that reduces emissions; the systems are certified in accordance with SURE (Sustainable Resources Verification Scheme). Proof of sustainability is provided via the web application sustainable biomass systems (Nabisy) operated by the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food.
There is currently no call for tenders for fuel gas.
