Update: Transmission system operator Thyssengas is carrying out pipeline construction work in Bahnhofsstraße in Werne

Since Monday, 8 July 2024, the transmission system operator Thyssengas has been carrying out pipeline construction work in Bahnhofstraße at house numbers one and eight in Werne. As a result, Bahnhofstraße will be closed on one side and there will be traffic disruptions in the Bahnhofstraße area. A diversion has been set up and signposted. The work, which will be carried out in two construction phases, is expected to take a total of eight weeks and will largely take place during the NRW summer holidays. According to current planning, the work will be completed at the beginning of September.

In the first construction phase, one-way traffic will be possible on one side of Bahnhofstraße coming from the roundabout. From the direction of Münsterstraße/Konrad-Adenauer-Platz, Bahnhofstraße will be closed on one side and will not be passable for the duration of the first construction phase of approx. three weeks. The corresponding diversion leads via Münsterstraße, Hansaring and finally ends at the Fürstenhof/Bahnhofsstraße roundabout. The footpath and cycle path on the Werne adult education centre side will also be closed. Here it will be possible to use the footpath and cycle path opposite. For the second construction phase, the other side of the carriageway will be closed on one side. Thyssengas will provide separate information on this.

The planning and implementation of the measure was carried out in close consultation with representatives of the town of Werne. Thyssengas asks for your understanding for the resulting inconvenience.
