Transmission system operator Thyssengas is carrying out pipeline construction work on the "Brink" farm track in Südlohn

From Monday, 19 February 2024, the transmission system operator Thyssengas will be carrying out pipeline work in Südlohn and later in the Velen municipality and town area. The background to the construction work is the construction of a connecting pipeline for a biogas and biogas feed-in plant in Anton-Lutter-Straße in Velen. According to current planning, the work will be completed by the end of August 2024. In order to minimise restrictions for local residents, the work will be carried out in sections.

The first section of the measure will begin on Monday, 19.02.2024. The area between the Brink service road at house number 28 and the junction to the Holthausen service road at house number 16 will be fully closed in sections over a length of approx. 800 metres. Diversions will be signposted accordingly. The restrictions on this section will take around ten weeks in total. Access to the local farms is guaranteed for the entire duration of the work. Thyssengas has informed local residents separately about the construction project.

Parallel to the work described in the first construction phase, work will also be carried out on a nearby dirt track. This will not result in any additional restrictions.

The planning and implementation of the measures will be carried out in close consultation with representatives of the Borken district, the municipality of Südlohn and the town of Velen. Thyssengas asks for your understanding for the resulting inconvenience. Information on the measures in the subsequent sections will be the subject of a separate communication.
