Utility works on Ulmenstraße
For the works on Ulmenstraße, half the road will be closed from Monday, 19 October 2026, at house number 22. Traffic will be able to continue flowing past the construction site. Public parking spaces on the street will be available only to a very limited extent whilst the works are in progress.
Utility works on Bunsenstraße
At the same time, from Monday 19 October 2026, utility works will take place on Bunsenstraße near number 35. The carriageway will also be closed on one side here. Access to the chemist’s in this area will remain possible for the duration of the works. Traffic can continue to flow past the construction site.
In addition, as part of the pipeline construction work, it will be necessary to briefly relieve pressure and vent the pipeline. As Thyssengas has set itself the goal of reducing the methane emissions associated with such measures as far as technically possible, the majority of the gas in the pipeline will be vented via downstream networks. On Tuesday, 27 October 2026, the remaining volume will be vented via a mobile flare system. The flare system is located in a wooded area near the ‘Waldschlösschen’ allotment association.
The planning and implementation of this measure are taking place in close consultation with representatives of the City of Lippstadt and the relevant authorities. Thyssengas asks for your understanding regarding any inconvenience caused.
