Transmission system operator Thyssengas constructs biogas feed-in plant in Reken Boom

Starting on Monday, 24 November 2025, the transmission system operator Thyssengas will construct a biogas feed-in plant (BGEA) in Reken Maria Veen. The work will take place near the Weskerhok road (close to the Boom/Surendorf intersection) and will not affect traffic. Completion is scheduled for December 2026.

The BGEA serves to feed locally produced biogas into the Thyssengas network. The planning and implementation of the measure are being carried out in close consultation with representatives of the town of Reken and the relevant authorities.
