Pipeline construction work by transmission system operator Thyssengas on Ahauser Landstraße in Heek is being extended

Since February 2024, the transmission system operator Thyssengas has been carrying out pipeline work over a length of approx. 3.8 km on Ahauser Landstraße in Heek. The background to the work is the relocation of an existing pipeline belonging to the company. The current construction section extends from the Kapellenhook junction to the roundabout that connects Ahauser Landstraße with Nienborger Straße and will result in several half-side closures. Traffic will be regulated by mobile traffic lights. Due to delays in the construction process, completion of the project will be extended until mid-May 2025.

The half-side closures are set up around the construction site area of the excavation pits. As soon as the relocated pipeline is integrated into the existing network, the excavation pits will be backfilled and the half-side closures will be successively removed by mid-May 2025. The planning and implementation of the measures will be carried out in close coordination with representatives of the municipality of Heek, Straßen.NRW and the district of Borken. Thyssengas asks for your understanding for the resulting inconvenience.
