Transmission system operator Thyssengas is carrying out pipeline construction work near Haarweg in Warstein

From Monday, 21 October 2024, the transmission system operator Thyssengas will be carrying out pipeline construction work in Warstein. The work will take around nine weeks in total and is expected to be completed by mid-December. The work will require a temporary closure of Haarweg, which may lead to some restrictions on through traffic. Pedestrians and cyclists may have to expect minor disruptions.

The natural gas supply will not be interrupted during the work and will be guaranteed at all times. The residual gas in the pipeline will be burnt in a controlled manner using a mobile flare system. This flaring activity will be necessary during the course of the construction work and will be communicated in a separate step.

The measure will be planned and implemented in consultation with the district of Soest and the affected property owners. Thyssengas asks for your understanding for the resulting inconvenience.
