Transmission system operator Thyssengas is carrying out pipeline construction work on the "Brink" service road and the "Ossenschloge" connection road in Südlohn

Since February 2024, the transmission system operator Thyssengas has been carrying out pipeline work in the Südlohn and Velen municipal and urban areas. The background to the construction work is the construction of a connection pipeline for a biogas feed-in plant in Velen. In order to minimise the restrictions for local residents, the work is being carried out in sections. The last section of the project will begin on Monday, 9 September 2024, and will be carried out in the area between the Brink farm track at house number 28 and the "Ossenschloge" connection. This area will remain impassable and will be regulated via the existing diversions. Due to weather-related delays in the construction process, the work will take another eight weeks. According to current planning, the work will be completed by the end of October 2024.

The crossing from the "Schlinge" farm track via Brinke to "Holthausen" can be reopened as construction progresses. Access to the local farms is guaranteed for the entire duration of the work. Local residents will be informed separately by Thyssengas about the construction phase.

The planning and implementation of the measures will be carried out in close consultation with representatives of the Borken district, the municipality of Südlohn and the town of Velen. Thyssengas asks for your understanding for the resulting inconvenience.
