Thyssengas is carrying out survey work on a gas pipeline between Hünxe and Duisburg-Hamborn
From Thursday 13 August 2026, the transmission system operator Thyssengas will be carrying out measurement work between Hünxe and Duisburg-Hamborn as part of a routine inspection of a long-distance gas pipeline. The areas being surveyed are in Hünxe, Voerde, Dinslaken-Averbruch and Duisburg-Marxloh/Duisburg-Hamborn. The aim of the measurements is to gather technical information. The measurements will take between a few minutes and a maximum of one hour per property and will be carried out by a company commissioned by Thyssengas. Property owners whose land the pipeline crosses will be informed directly by Thyssengas. In total, the measurement work will take a few days and will be completed during the week of 17 August. There will be no disruption to road traffic or the gas supply.
