Thyssengas is carrying out pipeline construction work in Jülich – Holunderweg will be completely closed from 20 April 2026

From Monday 13 April 2026, the transmission system operator Thyssengas will begin pipeline construction work on Holunderweg in Jülich. The road will be fully closed from 20 April; preparatory work will take place beforehand. Road traffic and adjacent properties will not be affected. The work is expected to take around six weeks and, according to current plans, will be completed by early June.

This work marks the completion of the pipeline works in Jülich that have been ongoing since 2025 – no further road closures are planned.

The planning and implementation of the work are being carried out in close consultation with representatives of the town of Jülich and the relevant authorities. Thyssengas apologises for any inconvenience caused.
