Thyssengas is carrying out pipeline construction work in Erwitte

From Monday, 3 August 2026, the transmission system operator Thyssengas will be carrying out work at various locations in Erwitte. The streets ‘Lohner Warte’ and ‘Im Kleefeld’ will be completely closed off outside residential areas. In addition, a half-lane closure will be in place on Anröchter Straße between ‘Im Kleefeld’ and the A44 motorway. Traffic will be able to continue flowing past the roadworks and will be controlled by a mobile traffic light system. Furthermore, from 24 August 2026, there will be a full closure on Windmühlenweg near the junction with Seringhauser Straße. Access to the sawmill will still be possible via Seringhauser Straße; the route via Anröchter Straße and Windmühlenweg will also remain open. The works will take a total of six weeks and are expected to be completed by mid-September.
