Thyssengas is carrying out pipeline construction work in Duisburg-Walsum – sectional one-way closure of Prinz-Eugen-Straße from 10 March 2026

Starting on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, the transmission system operator Thyssengas will begin pipeline construction work on Prinz-Eugen-Straße in Duisburg-Walsum. During the construction project, there will be two sectional one-way closures of the road with traffic lights. Cyclists and pedestrians will not be affected by the project. Residents will be informed separately about the construction activities. The work will take around two and a half months and, according to current plans, will be completed by the end of May 2026.

The planning and implementation of the measure are being carried out in close consultation with representatives of the city of Duisburg and the relevant authorities. Thyssengas apologises for any inconvenience caused.
