Thyssengas is carrying out pipeline construction work in Duisburg-Walsum – sectional closure of Büsackerstraße from 10 March 2026

Starting on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, transmission system operator Thyssengas will begin pipeline construction work on Büsackerstraße in Duisburg-Walsum. During the construction project, the road will be closed in sections. Work will begin on the section bordering Ackerstraße/Querspange Walsum. In consultation with other construction companies, work on the first section will take place in parallel with the demolition of three buildings. Residents will be informed separately about the construction activities. The construction project will take around six months and, according to current plans, is expected to be completed by the end of August 2026.
