The pipeline construction work on Römerstraße is taking place between Büsackerstraße and Teichstraße. Thyssengas is progressing in two construction phases, working from Büsackerstraße towards Teichstraße. During the works, the road will be closed on one side in sections. Traffic will be controlled by traffic lights. As part of the works, access to Büsackerstraße will be closed for around four weeks. In addition, pedestrian traffic lights will be installed in place of the pedestrian crossing. The works on Römerstraße are expected to last around ten weeks and, according to current plans, will be completed in early December 2026.
The planning and implementation of the construction works are being carried out in close consultation with representatives of the City of Duisburg and the relevant authorities. Local residents will be informed separately about the works. Thyssengas asks for your understanding regarding the resulting disruption.
