Near the outskirts of Uentrop, the northern lane (towards Arnsberg) and the cycle path will be closed over a stretch of approximately 100 metres. Car traffic can continue to flow past the construction site and is controlled by a mobile traffic light system. Cyclists will be diverted.
Utility line installation works in Im Neyl, near house number 22a
The works are taking place near house number 22a. The works will result in the closure of the footpath. Pedestrians will be diverted via the cycle path. To divert the cycle path, a partial closure of the southern carriageway (towards Freienohl) is necessary. Traffic can continue to flow past the construction site and is regulated by a mobile traffic light system

Utility works in Im Neyl, near the Ruhr Bridge
Utility line works are also taking place in the area of house number 2, near the Ruhr Bridge. As a result of the works, the northern lane (towards Arnsberg) and the cycle path will be closed over a distance of approximately 100 metres. Car traffic can continue to flow past the construction site and will be controlled by a mobile traffic light system. Cyclists will be diverted.
Utility line works on Oeventroper Straße and Mescheder Straße
In mid-October, utility line works will also be carried out on Mescheder Straße and Oeventroper Straße. These will be the subject of a separate announcement.
The planning and implementation of these works are being carried out in close consultation with representatives of the City of Arnsberg and Straßen.NRW. Thyssengas asks for your understanding regarding the resulting disruption. The works described are part of the Ruhrtal pipeline construction project.
About the Ruhrtal Pipeline project
Due to increased capacity requirements, Thyssengas GmbH has been expanding its gas transmission system in the Wickede / Arnsberg / Meschede region – known as the Ruhrtal pipeline – since 2018. The existing pipeline system is being renewed in several construction phases, and transport capacity is being increased as part of this work. The Ruhrtal pipeline supplies gas to the downstream networks of the local municipal utilities as well as to numerous large-scale customers such as industrial plants and power stations. Completion of the entire project is scheduled for 2027.
