Thyssengas is carrying out pipeline construction work on Hauptstraße in Meschede-Freienohl – half of the road will be closed from 23 March 2026

From Monday 23 March 2026, the transmission system operator Thyssengas will commence pipeline construction work on Hauptstraße in Meschede Freienohl. For the duration of the works, which are expected to last approximately four weeks, the southbound lane (towards Meschede) will be closed for a stretch of approximately 50 metres in the section running parallel to ‘Auf der Scherse’. Traffic heading towards Meschede will be diverted via the left-turn lane onto Wildeshausener Straße. The option to turn off towards Wildeshausener Straße will remain available. According to the current schedule, the works are expected to be completed by mid-April 2026.
