Thyssengas carries out tree cutting work in the network area

The transmission system operator Thyssengas will be carrying out tree cutting work along its pipeline network in February. This may result in occasional short-term closures of roads and paths. The work is part of the annual felling period.

To ensure the safe and reliable operation of the pipeline in the long term, measures such as these may be necessary: Access to the pipelines must be kept clear so that maintenance work can be carried out at any time. In addition, deep-rooted trees can have a long-term impact on the pipelines. For this reason, regular maintenance work is carried out on the protective strips – always on the basis of a prior expert assessment of the vegetation.

The planning and implementation of the measure are carried out in close consultation with representatives of the neighbouring towns and municipalities and the responsible authorities. Thyssengas apologises for any inconvenience caused.
