The transmission system operator Thyssengas is carrying out pipeline construction work on ‘Talweg’ in Meschede – half of the road will be closed from 13 April 2026

From Monday 13 April 2026, the transmission system operator Thyssengas will be carrying out pipeline construction work on Talweg in Meschede-Freienohl. As part of this work, the western lane (in the direction of Hauptstraße) will be closed over a length of approximately 50 metres (between house numbers 2 and 8). Traffic will be able to continue flowing past the construction site. The traffic lights will be repositioned accordingly for the duration of the works and will continue to regulate traffic. The houses in the area described will remain accessible. The works are expected to last approximately six weeks and, according to current plans, will be completed by the end of May 2026.
