Transport customers
As a transmission system operator, we provide you with access to the Germany-wide Trading Hub Europe market area for the transport of natural gas.
As a partner at your side, we stand for a secure and reliable energy supply.
Here you will find content on:
Capacity booking
Transport capacities in our gas transmission system are marketed exclusively via the European capacity platform PRISMA. To be able to make capacity bookings online, you must register as a transport customer on PRISMA. The subsequent authorisation as a transport customer is carried out by Thyssengas. Further information can be found in the Terms and Conditions for Entry and Exit Contracts of Thyssengas GmbH in the download area.
Furthermore, as a transport customer you can transfer your booked capacities to a third party for use at any time via PRISMA secondary and - with the consent of Thyssengas - transfer your rights and obligations to a third party. This applies to booked capacities at cross-border and storage points as well as for network connection points.
Capacity management
You can view your booked capacities online via the online systems EESy® and VMS (VIP TTF-THE-L) of Thyssengas GmbH and add and remove them to and from the balancing groups or sub-balancing accounts managed in the THE market area. In principle, capacities are to be added to balancing groups or sub-balancing accounts directly when booking on PRISMA.
Data portal
As a free service for our contractual partners, we offer access to a data portal.
In this data portal, our contractual partners have the option of viewing and downloading data on existing contracts (e.g. value processes including status, invoices, etc.).
We make the data portal available to registered users. If you are interested in using it, you must register once and agree to the terms of use. You will then receive your personal access data for logging into the data portal.
GET H2 hydrogen network
Together with the hydrogen network operators Nowega and OGE, we as Thyssengas have drawn up the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for access to the upcoming GET H2 hydrogen network.
In doing so, we are creating the contractual basis for network access. The GTCs provide for a two-contract model through which fixed, freely allocable capacities in the GET H2 hydrogen network are marketed and can be booked by you. The contract model is based as far as possible and reasonable on the established standard of the co-operation agreement of the network operators in natural gas (KoV Gas).
The GTC apply to all customers who wish to transport hydrogen in this GET H2 network.
Capacity reservation and booking on the core hydrogen network
European network operators have announced that the first user commitment processes for the marketing of hydrogen capacity will begin in early 2026. In parallel, the core hydrogen network operators in Germany will also begin marketing the relevant capacities. With this information package, the core hydrogen network operators aim to provide the market with further details on the upcoming process and, through coordinated timing, give a positive boost to the market ramp-up.
Request for capacity reservations
Via the button below, you will find the form for requesting capacity reservations in the hydrogen core network (only available in German). This form can be used to submit a request for the following network point types:
Network point type that can be reserved with THE:
- Cross-cluster transport (CÜT)
Network point types that can be reserved with the Hydrogen Core Network Operators (WKNB):
- Point of withdrawal to end consumers (NAP)
- Cross-border interconnection point (GÜP)
- H₂ terminal
- Domestic production facility
- Hydrogen storage facility
Please select the network point type appropriate for your project and submit your request using the provided form. A binding request may be submitted starting March 19, 2026, at 1:00:00 p.m. CET. Earlier requests will not be considered. A Know-Your-Customer (KYC) check will be conducted concurrently with the processing of the request.
Form for Requesting Capacity Reservations in the Hydrogen Core Network
The capacities set out in Market Information Package 2 represent the initial capacity framework based on the infrastructure commissioned between 2026 and 2029. This provides the basis for a hydrogen ramp-up in all areas already connected to the core hydrogen network. The capacity framework was determined using conservative assumptions due to the distribution and location of capacity requirements being unknown in advance. As the market develops and the specific location of demand becomes clear, the capacity framework within a cluster may increase. It is expressly provided that requests may be made which exceed the stated capacity supply in supply zones and for cross-cluster transport. These requests are reviewed by the network operators and may, following a case-by-case assessment, lead to a reassessment of the capacity supply in line with demand. For cross-cluster transfers, this could result in a reduction in the clearing price or even eliminate it altogether if all requests for the same hour can be met.
