New imagery, clear structures and concise content characterise the new digital presence. The website translates the core of the company into a contemporary visual language and combines values such as reliability and security of supply with the move towards a climate-neutral future.
New role, new website
The energy transition presents energy suppliers with major challenges. Thyssengas is taking up the challenge and redefining its role: from a traditional gas transporter to the creator of a climate-neutral energy infrastructure. Where natural gas still flows today, the transmission system operator wants to transport hydrogen and other green gases tomorrow.
The new website makes this change visible. The modern design gives the website a more concise look, while the intuitive navigation guides users quickly to the desired content. Future and corporate topics are clearly separated from service offerings - so customers, partners and the public can find exactly what they are looking for with just a few clicks.
At the same time, the relaunch goes far beyond visual customisation. The content has been fundamentally revised and reflects the strategic orientation. New features include compact overviews of the natural gas, biogas and hydrogen business areas - always with a view to the question: Where does Thyssengas stand today and where does the company want to go?
"With our new website, we are showing how we are actively shaping the energy transition: transparent, user-friendly and future-orientated. It makes visible what Thyssengas stands for: reliability today and responsibility for the climate-neutral energy supply of tomorrow," says Dr Thomas Becker, Commercial Director of Thyssengas.
Overview of the hydrogen projects
For the first time, Thyssengas is presenting its hydrogen projects in a bundled form on the company website, emphasising its claim to be actively involved in building a climate-neutral energy future.
The company is currently working on around 35 new construction and conversion projects. This involves a total of around 1,100 kilometres of lines in the nationwide H2 core network. The aim is to connect industry and SMEs in North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony to the hydrogen infrastructure and thus drive forward the decarbonisation of energy-intensive sectors.
Anyone who wants to know which pipelines are planned, where they are being built and what the current status is can find all the information on the project pages - clearly summarised and always up to date.
A joint project
The new website is the result of intensive collaboration between many specialist departments, from Communications and Strategy to Human Resources and IT through to Sales and Operations.
"It was only thanks to the close collaboration of many colleagues that we were able to design the new website as a showcase for our corporate strategy," says Peter Alexewicz, Head of Corporate Communications and Energy Policy at Thyssengas.
