Monitoring report according KAP+

On the basis of article 3 lit. b) of the decision of the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) of March 25, 2020 on the "Approval of an overbooking and buyback system by the transmission system operators for the offer of additional capacities in the Germany market area" ("KAP+"; file number: BK7-19 -037) in conjunction with § 27 number 1 letter b), there letter dd) of the terms and conditions for the balancing group contract, the transmission system operators (TSOs) involved in KAP+ together with the German market area manager (MGV), Trading Hub Europe GmbH (THE GmbH), an annual monitoring report on the use of market-based instruments (MBI) and capacity buyback.

The annual monitoring report describes the use of MBIs and capacity buybacks in the Trading Hub Europe (THE) market area in the past gas year (GWY).


The publication of the monitoring report according to KAP+ has been replaced by the decision on the recognition of instruments for increasing capacity ("ANIKA").
