We process data in the context of video surveillance in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation and only for the purposes described in the following.

3. Purposes of the processing and legal basis
Video surveillance serves to detect security incidents, to establish an optical connection which enables remote control of other objects, to verify identities and also as evidence in the event of security incidents or a suspected criminal offence.
Video surveillance is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interest pursued by Thyssengas GmbH in the protection of real estate, employees and assets and in the prevention of damage to the company.
4. Recipients and disclosure of your personal data
Service providers commissioned by us are obligated by Thyssengas GmbH to comply with our data protection and security requirements. Data about you will only be stored in Germany. We transmit video surveillance data to third parties if we have a legitimate interest in doing so and there are no overriding interests of data subjects which are worthy of protection.
5. Storage period or criteria used to determine that period
Data recorded in the course of video surveillance are erased after 10 days at the latest.
If data recorded in the course of video surveillance are processed as evidence in the event of security incidents or a suspected criminal offence, they are erased as soon as this process is completed provided their erasure does not conflict with any statutory retention periods and is not barred by other reasonable grounds.

6.1 Information, rectification, erasure, etc.
We would be happy to provide you with information regarding any personal data stored by us about you as well as any recipients with whom this data has been shared. Pursuant to the relevant laws, you may also assert the following rights: rectification, erasure, restriction of processing (blocking for specific purposes) and data portability.
6.2 Right to object
If you have given us consent specifically for the purpose of processing your personal data, you may withdraw this consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
