Load flow commitments

Tender for load flow commitments for utilisation in calendar year 2025

Thyssengas GmbH requires load flow commitments for the operation of the network within the Trading Hub Europe market area. These serve as an instrument for the presentation of firm, freely allocable entry and exit capacities for transports within the Thyssengas network to the greatest possible extent.

Thyssengas thus fulfils its obligation to take the economically reasonable measures necessary for the presentation of firm, freely allocable entry and exit capacities to the greatest possible extent in order to avoid an intervention on the basis of Section 16 (2) EnWG to maintain the security and reliability of the gas supply system. If economically reasonable measures are not available to a sufficient extent following an invitation to tender, the probability increases considerably for all transport customers in the market area that measures pursuant to Section 16 (2) EnWG will have to be taken.

There is currently no invitation to tender for load flow commitments.

All providers who prequalify beforehand and accept the conditions for the prequalification and tendering procedure (procedural conditions) and conclude a framework agreement with us for the provision of a load flow commitment can take part in a tender.

Service gas

Thyssengas GmbH requires natural gas and biogas to cover its operating consumption in order to operate the gas network.

Thyssengas GmbH requires natural gas and biogas to cover its own consumption in order to operate the gas network. The sustainable biogas quantities are used to reduce emissions for the generation of motive power in the compressor plants, which are certified in accordance with SURE (Sustainable Resources Verification Scheme). Proof of sustainability is provided via the web application Sustainable Biomass Systems (Nabisy) of the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food.

There is currently no call for tenders for operating gas.

All suppliers who prequalify beforehand and accept the conditions for the prequalification and tendering procedure (procedural conditions) and conclude a framework agreement with us for the supply of process gas can take part in a tender.

Flexibilities

To operate the gas network, Thyssengas GmbH utilises injection and withdrawal capacity as well as working gas volumes from gas storage facilities that are directly connected to the Thyssengas transport network.

There is currently no tender for storage capacities.
