We support the Volmarstein vocational training centre

The Volmarstein concept for the holistic rehabilitation of the disabled has included scholastic and vocational rehabilitation since the very beginning.

Around 340 youths receive vocational training at the vocational training centre of the foundation Evangelische Stiftung Volmarstein. This includes commercial vocations and vocations in the areas of agriculture, metalworking, electrical engineering, printing and various trades.

Physically disabled young males and females ages 15 to 25 are accepted for initial vocational training. The training lasts between 24 and 42 months and ends with recognised final examinations.

Thyssengas supports the training of young people through work placement. During this time the placement students go through various internal departments. They thereby have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with many areas of our company.
