13. July 2021 Consultation of Regulations of Interconnection Agreement “VIP TTF-THE-L” regarding Matching, Allocation and Communication Process

According to 19 (9) Article of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/459 of 16 March 2017 (CAM NC) transmission system operators shall offer available capacities of interconnection points connecting the same two adjacent entry-exit systems at one virtual interconnection point to provide one single capacity service as defined in Article 3 No. 23 CAM NC.

Art. 19 (9) Regulation (EU) 2017/459 (NC CAM) provides for the implementation of virtual interconnection points (VIP). Due to the merger of the Netconnect Germany (NCG) and GASPOOL market areas into the new Trading Hub Europe (THE) market area on October 1st, 2021, there will be an obligation at some borders to merge further interconnection points (IP) and existing VIPs to new THE-VIPs. The transmission system operators (TSOs) on the borders with Denmark, the Netherlands (H-Gas & L-Gas), Belgium and the Czech Republic are affected by a merger to form THE-VIPs

01. October 2020 Information regarding capacity conversions

Valid from 01. October 2020: Capacity conversions according to § 8 (7) (Bundled booking points / conversion of firm unbundled capacity) and according to § 10 (Conversion of interruptible capacity or firm capacities with interruptible elements) of the terms and conditions for the entry and exit contract (entry-exit system) are implemented up to the amount of the smallest value from the new contract, old contract and conversion request (lesser-off rule).

29. September 2020 Thyssengas publishes network tariff valid from 1 October 2021

From 1 October 2021, within the market area Trading Hub Europe (THE) the network tariff is 3.80 €/(kWh/h)a for the FZK product, 3.42 €/(kWh/h)/a for the bFZK (load-dependent) product according to Section 1 of the Supplementary Terms and Conditions as well as 3.344 €/(kWh/h)/a for the bFZKtemp1 product and 3.116 €/(kWh/h)/a for the bFZKtemp2 product according to Section 2 of the Supplementary Terms and Conditions with reference to BNetzA decision BK9-19/610 (REGENT 2021).
