We offer you the ideal opportunity as an intern or working student.

With us, you can get to know the practical side and are able to position yourself in the best possible way for the transition from theory to the world of work.

Here, you will not just gain experience, but will be able at the same time to lay down a basis for your entry into working life. Because, even on a purely demographic basis, we are looking to offer plenty of opportunities to young professionals in the next few years.
Get to know an extremely interesting field of work with a great future. We are shaping and supporting the transition to a decarbonised energy sector. Our gas infrastructure, a pipeline network of 4,400 kilometres with several compressor stations, will play an important role in this transformation.
Seize the opportunity – as an intern or working student.

You can do a voluntary orientation or mandatory internship with us.

In doing so, you will compose practical reports or enrich your bachelor’s, master's or diploma thesis with knowledge from research, inquiries or projects at Thyssengas.

Students from various disciplines, such as mechanical engineering, electrical technology, energy technology or business administration find interesting tasks here in network planning and control and in physical operations such as pipeline construction. The commercial regulation department and controlling will also give you valuable insight into practical work.

As a working student, you will work closely together with our professionals on projects and support the day-to-day running of the operation.

Front row seats for the energy sector.

As a working student, you can experience one of the most interesting and exciting sectors up close and personal.

You will work together on forward-looking projects that will shape the energy world of tomorrow.

In doing so, you can choose between the technical or commercial side of work. In either case, you will be able to deepen the knowledge learnt during study in close, practical collaboration with our specialist staff.

Engaged experts from your specialist field will support you and guide you towards self-reliant, independent work. There is always a fixed contact at your side. You will get to know the company and current topics in the energy sector.

It is exciting work in demanding conditions.

You must give your all – but working times are also so flexible that you will be able to harmonise them with exam periods and your classes.
In stressful phases of study, your department at Thyssengas will find the right solution with you.

During your work with us, you will enjoy all employee advantages, such as:

a lunch allowance, free fruit, water, tea and coffee. Your participation in occupational health management programmes is assured, as is your invitation to parties and events.

You will work in exactly the same inviting, open-plan offices as our employees and will receive a fair, attractive remuneration.

At the end of your work with us, you will receive a report and proof of activity, if you wish.
